Brooklyn Men (K)onnect [BMK] is a community outreach, intervention and health education program dedicated to expanding access to HIV/STD-related prevention resources and promoting sexual health education within the MSM (Men who have sex with Men) population. BMK collaborates with other community based organizations, events, activities, club promoters, social networking outlets, as well as develop strategic partnerships and collaborations, to build a strong connection within the MSM population where there is a high-risk of HIV/STD infections. LGBT Community Center of NYC providing a home for the birth, nurture, and celebration of LGBT organizations, institutions, and culture; caring for LGBT individuals and groups in need; educating the public and the community; and empowering LGBT individuals and groups to achieve their fullest potential.

Callen-Lorde Community Health Center providing sensitive, quality health care and related services primarily to New York’s LGBT communities regardless of ability to pay, and promoting health education and wellness and advocates for LGBT health issues. Youth Resources

Community Healthcare Network, Transgender Family Program – CHN offers three specialized programs for individuals of transgender experience at the Caribbean House Health Center in Brooklyn, Bronx Health Center in the South Bronx, at the Downtown Health Center in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, and at the Family Health Center located in Jamaica, Queens. Programs, such as, TWEET Care Project (Transgender Women Entry and Engagement to Care Project) and the SHINE Project (Sexual Health Initiative Network and Education). They offer services to the transgender, lesbian, gay and bisexual communities regardless of insurance and citizenship. Some services are at no cost to you, if uninsured, like appointment based STI & HIV testing with medication covered if needed.
